Pages
Under the “Pages” tab, you can create and customize pages. “Pages” are used to provide information to all visitors of the candidacy site. They are customizable, meaning that they can be styled and structured according to your organization’s needs. You can also schedule pages to be visible at the time of your choosing. There are two different types of pages: homepages and pages.
When you click on “Pages” in the left-hand side menu, you will see an overview of all created pages and homepages. Note that you can create as many pages as needed, but only one homepage will be visible at a time.
Create a new homepage by clicking on the “+” button and selecting the “Empty homepage” button. You can create multiple homepages, but only one homepage will be visible in the frontend.
You will then be able to configure and personalize your homepage with the following configurations:
Slug: This is a unique part of the homepage’s URL link and can only contain letters and numbers (A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - and _).
Internal name: This is the internal name of the homepage and it is only visible for backend users.
Position: This refers to the position of the homepage in relation to other pages. Homepages are by default always the first page shown in the frontend and will have in the position “1: Place at bottom”.
Please note that if you have created more than one homepage for different uses, only the homepage with position “1“ will be displayed in the frontend.
Title: This is the public title of the homepage and it only appears at the top of the candidacy site. End-users will see this title in the frontend.
Visibility: This is where you set the visibility status of the page. A page/homepage can have three states: “visible“, “hidden“, and “scheduled”. It is possible to change a page’s visibility at any point.
“Visible”: When a page/homepage is set to “visible”, end-users will be able to see it once they access the page. When creating a new page, the visibility will automatically be set as “visible”.
“Hidden”: When a page/homepage is set to “hidden”, the page will not be made visible in the frontend for end-users.
“Scheduled”: When a page/homepage is set to “scheduled”, you need to provide a time and date for when the specific page should be made visible/hidden. Once this visibility status is enabled, two extra fields will appear, which need to be filled:

Page fields are add-on fields that allow you to further customize your frontend Candidacy pages (ie. all the pages an end-user will see on the Candidacy site). Each field however requires additional set-up, as you will see below. Note that not all fields will be available for both types of pages.
There are two ways to access and place the fields:
Click on the grey “+” button to add a new field at the end of the form;
Or click on the “+” button next to an already existing field, to add a new field just below that field.
See all the page fields and their description below:
Divider
: This field adds a space separator to the page.
Image
: This field adds an image to the page.
Under “Choose file”, you can select the desired image and then choose how the image should be aligned inside the page (
: to the left, centered, or to the right, respectively).
Optionally, you can also set up the height & width of the image.
Text block
: This field opens up a New Rich text area in which you can write regular text or HTML.
Video
: This field adds a video viewer to a URL of your choosing. You need to provide the URL link under “Url“.
Landing page
: This field adds a landing page block with its own text and image fields, as well as customization tools to the homepage. This is only available for homepages.
Preview: This box will show a preview of your landing page as edits and changes are made. If you have more than one language set for your Candidacy, it will then be possible to see this in the selected languages.
Main text content & Secondary text content: These two textbox fields allow you to write and customise text that you wish to add to the homepage.
The “main text content” field corresponds to text that will show up at the top of the page, whereas the “secondary text content” field corresponds to the text that will be right below the main text.
Image: Here, you can select an image to add to the landing page block. Under “Image description (accessibility only, not visible)“, you can add a description for the image for accessibility purposes (for eg. in case the image can’t be displayed).
Call to action: This allows you to add one or two call-to-action buttons. Both primary and secondary buttons have three pre-set types (Sign in, Sign up, and View candidates) and a fourth Custom one.
The “Custom” button type will need a label, a URL, and a menu icon.
Styling: In the “Styling” tab, you can adjust and edit the spacing of the text as well as the proportions and orientation of the landing page’s layout.
Once you are done with customizing the landing page block, it will look like the image below:
