How to set up pages
The next step in setting up the system is to create pages for your candidacy site. “Pages” are used for providing information to all visitors of the candidacy site. They are customizable, meaning that they can be styled and structured according to your organization’s needs.
There are two different types of pages: homepages and pages. In this guide, you will be creating and setting up one homepage and one page.
We will start by creating a homepage.
Click on the “Pages” tab in the menu to the left.
Click on the
button to create a blank homepage.
Now, fill out the slug and title, and proceed to add all other necessary fields via the “+” bar.
Under “Slug” and “Title,” write “Homepage.”
Make sure that “Visible” is selected from the dropdown menu entitled “Visibility.” This will ensure that, once the page is created, it is visible and publicly available to all.
Click on the
button to reveal a bar with five other customizable page fields,

For the homepage, you will only need to add a landing page by clicking on the icon.
For this landing page, you need to provide the following information: main text, secondary text, image, and call to action. You will also need to customize the style of the page.
Under “Main text content,” write the following:
Under “Secondary text content,” write:
Under “Image,” click “Choose file” and select the image (use a .png or a .jpg file):
. Write “parliament” in the “Image description” textbox to make sure that those who cannot see the image still know what the image shows.
Under “Call to action,” tick both the “Primary btn” and “Secondary btn” boxes.
Select “Sign up” for the “Primary btn.”
Select “Custom” for the “Secondary btn.” This action will pre-fill the button’s label and URL fields with automated filler. You can edit this at any point. However, for the sake of this walkthrough, leave it as is for now.
In “Styling,” you can customize the proportions and orientation of the page’s layout, as well as its spacing.
Click on “Create Page” to create and publish the page.
Now, you should review your setup of the page.
Click on the “Frontend“ button in the lower left corner under the sections, which will open a new browser page with the frontend of your candidacy site.
If you have followed the above instructions, the page should look like this:
