Create, edit, and delete a voting round
Click “+ New” next to “Voting rounds” to create a new voting round.
Video guide
To edit a voting round, open the round you wish to change and click on the button in the upper right. You can then edit all of the fields displayed, with the exception of the “Reference.”
You will not be able to delete your voting round by clicking the trash can button. See the section below to read about this in more detail.
When deleting voting rounds, be aware of different sets of circumstances which will affect how you can proceed.
If you have toggled on “Skip automatic E2E initiation” in the “Summary” tab, you can delete voting rounds by clicking on
button next to the voting round you wish to delete. Then click the
button to delete the voting round.
If, on the contrary, you have created a voting round with an active election board or threshold ceremony (by not skipping the automatic E2E initiation), you will be prevented from deleting voting rounds. To resolve this issue, you will need to clear the election board.
To do this, closely follow the instructions below.
Note: You should only use this function in the testing stage, specifically after you are done testing your election and are ready to set up the real election data. NEVER use this function when your real election event is already set up.
*Once data is cleared, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you are ready to delete the data before proceeding.
You have now deleted all votes and reports. The election will also require that you initialize the threshold ceremony and the election board.

Remember to initialize the threshold ceremony and the election board to be able to run the election. Find more information on how to do that in the E2E section.
