Ballot Tracker
The Ballot Tracker is a tool for the voter to track the voter’s vote after it has been submitted to the digital ballot box. This tool cannot be turned on or off via the Election Verification Site. You will find any configurations available for the Election Verification process in the configuration menu on Electa. Read more about the possibilities available here.
There are two options to use the Ballot Tracker either through uploading a vote receipt or using a tracking code to track the following activities of the voter:
Their sign-in,
Ballot Checks performed by them, and
Casting their ballot(s).
For more about how to use the Ballot Tracker, refer to either the “End-to-end voting flow (Scheduled voting)” section or the “End-to-end voting flow (Live Conference voting)” section, depending on which election type you are using.
Good things to know about the Ballot Tracker
The ballot tracking code can be configured to be downloadable as a PDF receipt form from the confirmation page after the voter has voted. Also, if voters have provided an email address, the code can be set up to be sent automatically via email when the voter has cast a ballot. Refer to the section on Configuration for how to set this up.
