Translations (Candidacy)
From the menu on the left, select “Translation.” This will give you an overview of all the translation keys which are available under your organization and for the specific candidacy event. This is a tool which allows you to create individual translations for the specific candidacy site. You can use this to label functionalities available in your candidacy so that all end-users may understand them.
On this page, you can change and update translations in all available languages which will have an impact only on your current candidacy. If you wish to make changes to all other candidacies and/or elections in your organization, please read more here.
In the “Translations” tab, you have an overview of all translation keys available for the candidacy. On this page, you can create individual translations for the candidacy site which will only be visible in this specific candidacy.
The grey bar at the top of the translation page allows you to find and filter translation keys in the system by searching for various attributes. You can access all of the filters by clicking on the button to the left.
You may filter or search for translation keys via the following items:
Includes: Here, you can type any word to see which translation key includes that word either in the key itself or in the translation text.
Missing for: Search for translation keys which have a missing translation for one of the languages by selecting that particular language from the dropdown menu.
Key: Search for translation keys by their key (in red).
Tag: Search for translation keys by their tag. Not all tags will be visible to you. You will mostly only be able to see the translation keys with the tag

Suggested default: Search for translation keys by their default translation (“yes” for “Default”, “no” for when there is more than the “Default” translation - which could be both Organisation and Candidacy translations)
Each translation page displays up to 10 translation keys in all available languages. At the bottom of every page, you will find the following navigation bar:
To edit and change a translation, start by clicking on the translation you wish to change. Write the new translation and then either save it by clicking on the button or cancel the changes by clicking on the
button.
Additionally, you can delete translations by clicking on the button - this button will only appear if the translation has already been created. If you are just starting to create a new translation, then you want to use the
button to cancel the changes.
Any new translation which is created or updated will automatically be categorized as a “Candidacy” (to refer to Candidacy) translation. This also means that you will be able to see the different translations for one specific translation key:
“Default,” the one created by the system
“Organisation,” the one created by the admin or organization owners/managers which is available and applicable to the entire organization. You can read more about this here.
“Candidacy,” the one that is just created for this specific candidacy.
By default, the system will use the newest translation created. This means that the active translation for your election will be the one lowest on the list, as shown below:
