Pre-election
In Electa, there are two types of elections which can be created and set up. On this page, you can read about both election types and the functionalities which must be set up for each.
Live Conference Voting
The “Live Conference Voting” format is used for an election which is run in real time. It includes a slide presentation feature and enables voters to vote from their own devices (either while attending an event or from their chosen location), follow the progress of votes, and view published results in real time. This format is most commonly used in general assemblies or conferences taking place over several days to a week.
Scheduled Voting
The “Scheduled Voting” format is used for an election which takes place within a set time frame, often over an extended period, and allows voters to cast ballots for items on which they are eligible to vote at their convenience within the determined time frame. An example of this could be a vote to elect board members or approve an agreement which takes place over several days and is not linked to a meeting or assembly.
